What we found
A home automation system installed during the renovation of a two-storey house: lighting scenes, zoned climate control, motorised blinds, access control and cameras, all in one app and with wall switches that keep working without a phone.

The work, step by step
- 01Cabling and point layout agreed on site, before partitions and false ceilings were closed
- 02Lighting grouped into scenes instead of one switch per point
- 03Zoned climate control, with its own thermostat on each floor
- 04Motorised blinds and awnings on schedules, with manual wall control
- 05Video entry, access control and cameras on the same system
- 06Central panel and rack left accessible for maintenance without opening anything up
- 07Everything controllable from the phone, but with a physical switch that works if the network fails
