The starting point
What we found
Fit-out of a 130 m² unit for the Honest Green restaurant, carried out in three and a half months. The existing structure — timber beams and concrete columns — was left exposed and treated as a finish: seamless render walls, indirect linear lighting and bespoke dining furniture.

The work, step by step
- 01Timber and concrete structure repaired and left exposed, treated as a finish rather than as support
- 02Continuous render on walls and fronts, with no skirting and no trim at the junctions
- 03Indirect linear lighting in the wall bands, lighting the room without dropping the ceiling
- 04Exposed services, set out parallel to the beams so they read as part of the ceiling
- 05Bespoke dining furniture: long tables, benches and bar
- 06Preserved planting hung from the structure, needing no watering or upkeep
- 07One continuous floor across the whole unit, with no level changes between areas
